Heating Instructions for Thanksgiving

Turkey, Stuffing, and Gravy

Turkey and Stuffing come in oven safe foil containers.

Turkey-

  • preheat oven to 375. Heat bird in provided container with lid on for 45 minutes, remove lid and heat again for 15 to 20 minutes or until hot through.

Half turkey-

  • 375 heat bird with lid for 20 minutes remove lid and continue in oven for 15 minutes or until hot.

Stuffing-

  • preheat oven to 375- Place stuffing with lid in oven for 30 minutes remove lid stir and continue to heat without lid for 15 to 20 minutes till crispy on top and hot through out.

Classic turkey gravy-

  • Stove top-( preferable) pour gravy into sauce pan and heat on medium for 10 minutes or until hot
  • Classic turkey gravy- Microwave- remove lid and heat on high for 4 to 5 minutes. Take out and stir. Continue to heat at 1 minute increments until hot

Veggies

Brussels, Heirloom Carrots, Green Beans, Potatoes

Brussel sprouts-

  • Oven( preferable)- heat oven to 375* remove from provided container and put into oven safe dish. Heat for 30 to 40 minutes or until hot 
  • Microwave- Place in microwave with lid on for 6 to 8 minutes or until hot. Continue 1 minute at a time until hot through.

Honey Roasted  Heirloom carrots-

  • Oven ( preferable) = 375* remove from provided container and put into oven safe dish. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until hot.
  • Microwave- Place in microwave with lid on for 6 to 8 minutes or until hot. If not hot  Continue 1 minute at a time until hot through.

Sautéed Blue Lake Green Beans-

  • Stove top-(preferable).- Heat green beans in hot sauté pan for 5 to 10 minutes or until hot
  • Oven- 375 – Remove from provided container and place in oven safe baking dish. Heat for 20 minutes stirring occasionally until hot.
  • Microwave- Place in microwave with lid on for 6 to 8 minutes on high or until hot.

Maple crusted baked sweet potato-

  • Oven- (preferable)- Oven 375- Place container with lid in oven for 30 minutes. Remove lid and put back in oven for 10 to 15 minutes until toasted on top and hot.
  • Microwave- Place provided container with lid on in microwave for 6 to 8 minutes, remove and stir, continue heating until hot.

Whipped potatoes-

  • Stove top- Preferable- remove from provided container and place in large sauce pot. Heat on medium stirring frequently until hot.
  • Whipped potatoes- Microwave- Place in microwave with lid on and heat for 6 to 8 minutes. Take out and stir put back in microwave and continue to heat until hot

Rosemary Roasted potatoes-

  • Oven- Preferable- 375* oven- remove from provided container and spread out on baking sheet pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until hot
