Who is Great Taste Catering?
Great Taste Catering (GTC) is founded, owned, and operated by local chef Josh Jackson. Josh is Los Angeles born and raised, and spent decades as a personal chef for various personages in L.A. before turning to catering. Home delivery service is how Josh is feeding his long-time clients, keeping his staff employed, and keeping the lights on at his professional, commercial kitchen during quarantine.
How safe is my order?
We understand your concern around food safety during the current crisis. All items are prepared in a commercial, grade “A” kitchen. Our chefs constantly wash hands, sanitize the kitchen, and wear gloves. Our food is packed wearing gloves and masks inside of the controlled kitchen. When delivering we wear masks, gloves, and offer a no contact delivery by leaving on your doorstep.
When will my food be delivered?
Current delivery days are Tuesdays and Friday. Delivery will occur between 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on the day you requested. We will occasionally have special menus with special delivery dates for holidays. We will post those when they occur.
When do I need to place my order?
Why are there order cutoff times?
All meals are prepared to order, and we need time to get fresh ingredients. On Sunday night, for example, Chef Josh will order ingredients from his grocery supplier after 9:00 p.m. Meals are then cooked, packed, and delivered on Tuesday.
Where do you deliver to?
Basically the Los Angeles area. Our kitchen is in Culver City, but we have made deliveries from Inglewood to Thousand Oaks, Northridge, and Pasadena.
What does delivery cost?
The normal delivery fee is $15. We will up charge for deliveries out of a 20 mile radius of the kitchen, which is located in Culver City.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes. Pick up is free and can be selected during checkout. We allow pick up from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. on delivery days. Pick up location is:
