Emergency Shelters and Immediate Support:

  • 211 LA County: In partnership with Airbnb, 211 LA offers free temporary shelter for individuals displaced by the fires. To apply, fill out the form available at www.lahsa.org.
  • American Red Cross Los Angeles Region: Provides emergency shelters and disaster relief services. Find open shelters and additional information at www.iaem.org.

Financial Assistance and Relief Funds:

  • California Community Foundation Wildfire Recovery Fund: Supports long-term recovery efforts for affected communities. Donations can be made through www.lacity.gov.
  • LA Labor Community Services Fire Relief Fund: Offers financial assistance to individuals impacted by the wildfires. More details at  www.callaborfed.org.
  • United Way of Greater Los Angeles Wildfire Response Fund: Addresses urgent needs, including support for low-income individuals and small businesses. More information is available at www.unitedwayla.org.

Legal Assistance

Animal Rescue and Assistance

  • 999 Rescue Team: Led by Austin Muhs, this team rescues animals affected by natural disasters. Community members can get involved or seek assistance through their Nextdoor platform.
